Plan, Designs for road signage. 1921.
Plan by the New Zealand Automobile Union for designs and specifications for approved warning and direction signs. Three separate designs of signs:
No1 warning sign to be an equilateral triangle and painted Post Office red, showing school, bad bend, crossroad as warnings.
No 2 is the design and specification for the speed sign.
No 3 is the prohibition sign design.
No 4 is the direction sign, being a post having direction arms and surmounted by an equilateral triangle to be painted white with the name of the Association responsible for it's erection.
