Brief Description
Plan, Napier Harbour.C1917.
Plan of the Napier Harbour showing proposed completion of the Breakwater Harbour. This accompanies M Furkert's report.
The plan shows the existing extent of the breakwater and the proposed work to be done which extends to Auckland Rock and beyond approx 1500 feet.
Dotted lines indicate the outline of the Breakwater Harbour near the Ahuriri Roadstead, proposed by Messr's Keele & Cullen, August 20, 1912. Also noted is the Pania Buoy which is N16ÂșE from Napier Bluff, some 2 1/4 miles.
The signal station can be seen on Scinde Island as well as the Inner Harbour, Iron Pot and the proposed new station yard for goods sorting on reclaimed land.
