About this object
The photograph shows Memorial Square, Napier and the Women's Rest building. Clive Square is on the right. There are empty sections of land in evidence where buildings have been demolished because of the devastating 3 February 1931 earthquake. Trinity Methodist Church faces Clive Square. Loader's Hedgegrove Orchard fruit depot is to the right of the church. The newly built Provincial Hotel faces Memorial Square.
