About this object
The photograph shows the new Nurses' Home, Napier Hospital. This was built to replace the nurses home which had been destroyed in the 3 February 1931 earthquake. Hospital Terrace is on the left and Goldsmith Road is on the right. The photograph is looking out towards Bay View.
