Brief Description
A booklet entitled: Immigrant Ship License and Regulations, Hudson. This is a copy of the revised 28 June 1875 regulations that allows only the ship Hudson to convey passengers from London to Napier, Hawke's Bay according to the license between Her Majesty the Queen and the Shaw Savill Line.

The contents include: the conditions and regulations agreed to by both parties; schedule of food allowances across the week; schedule of medical comforts to be placed aboard; list of medicines, etcetera, required for every 100 passengers; ship furnishings; mess utensils to be put on for every seven statute adults; small stores; cooking apparatus and miscellaneous articles for each ship; abstract of the Queens Order in Council; Regulations to be observed on board Emigrant Ships of the Government of New Zealand; Instructions to Captains of Emigrant Ships of the Government of New Zealand.
