It reads: A cordial invitation is extended to M Campbell Wylie to be present at a gathering to celebrate the centenary of the founding of Mission Stations in the Inland Patea (Upper Rangitikei) district by the Reverend William Colenso and his crossing of the Ruahine Range (the first crossing by a Pākehā).
