Decorated with the images of prominent rangatira and settlers.
Lists important events eg:
- H M S Herald anchored in Napier on 23 June 1840 to obtain signatures for the Treaty of Waitangi.
- F J Tiffen, run holder, he bought the first sheep to Hawke's Bay from Wellington.
- The 65 regiment arrived in Napier 1858, on account of inter tribal conflict among Māori.
- Napier was surveyed by Lt McDonnell R.N, 1834, J Pollock traded here in 1836 and the Harbour was chartered by Captain Wing in 1837.
