Brief Description
Architectural blueprint drawing entitled: Proposed central feature of foreshore development commemorating the reconstruction of Napier. It shows proposed future pier, stairs down to the beach, promenade, dressing rooms under promenade stage, auditorium for skating, dancing and concerts, women's rest room, vestibule, and ladies' and gentlemen's toilets. The streets shown are Marine Parade, Tennyson Street and Emerson Street on which are drawn the South African War memorial, the Masonic Hotel, YMCA and the future public library.
The plan was produced on behalf of the Napier Reconstruction Committee.
