Sympathy card, blank
Object detail
Brief Description
A blank sympathy card printed by Cox printers in Christchurch.
The edges are lined with black and sliver and the front is decorated with blue, red, and black flags of New Zealand and England on either side of a central medallion that is ringed with black ivy and has a blank rectangle in the centre. There are instructions to place a photo in this empty space.
Under the flags and medallion is a banner running across the length of the card that reads: So dearly loved, so sadly missed. The inside of the folding card is edged with black and silver but is other wise blank.
The card is undated but probably dates from the early 1900s.
