Brief Description
Letter and Testimonials regarding Percy R Manson.

Four testimonials about Trooper Percy R Manson's death and burial at Amman, Palestine during World War I. Also includes a letter forwarding these testimonials to his mother, Mrs S Manson.

a) Two testimonials on a full page. The first written on 6 September 1918 in Alexandria, Egypt by Sergeant R D McCormack of Machine Gun Squadron, Third Company. Second written on 9 September 1918 in Alexandria, Egypt by J Thomson, Cadet, Zeitoun School of Instruction.

b) Testimonial written on 9 October 1918 in Alexandria, Egypt by Trooper Farrier J Lobb, 1 Machine Gun Squadron, Auckland Section.

c) Testimonial written on 15 October 1918 in Alexandria, Egypt by Lance Corporal A A Price, New Zealand Machine Gun Squadron.

d) A letter from The New Zealand Branch of the British Red Cross and the Order of St. John, Enquiry Bureau for Killed and Missing. The organisation has an address in Christchurch and the letter is dated 20 January 1919. Addressed to Mrs S Manson is a note giving information on the accompanying testimonials regarding Percy Manson's death. It is signed by L Hard.
