Brief Description
Four maps of Tutira Station, Hawke's Bay.
The maps show the changes in size between the years 1872 - 1971. Photocopies to accompany text Tutira 1880 to 1971.
a) Shows the 40,000 acres that were returned to Māori owners in 1903, later owned by the Crown, 3,100 acres of 5,000 lease not renewed and reverted to crown land and 2,000 acres are noted as freehold.

b) Shows the private farm settlement scheme 1919, with a list of land owners and area sizes. eg:
J S Stewart 1,735 acres.
D Goodman - 879 acres.
M W Harvey - 125 acres.
Also noted is crown land in 1903 and 1938.

c) Tutira 1957. Shows land divisions at 1957, division of Putorino sections and crown land.

d) Tutira 1963 - 71. Shows Matahoura Road divisions, divisions & development commenced mid to late sixties and extension of the Kahika Settlement.
