The plan shows the inner harbour area around West shore railway station, the Embankment Road and Ahuriri.
Soundings are shown which have been taken in connection with the report by Mr Reynolds and give the depths in feet below low water of spring tide.
Soundings coloured in black have been accepted from Mr F W Marchants plan of 1906.
