Plan of Gisborne Harbour. Plan accompanying report by Marine Engineer of May 1911.The idea of the plan is to overcome the problem of cross seas in the channel during Southerly weather. The proposed cost was estimated at 187,000 pounds.
The plan shows the wave and sand drift protection mole, Lone Street, Grey Street, Peel Street, Turanganui River,Waikanae Stream and the railway Station.
