Plan of Eskdale Farms, the property of Mrs C I Brewster, to be sold by public auction at the Browning Street sale rooms, Napier on Thursday December 13, 1928. Williams & Kettle, Hoadley, Son and Stewart are to be the auctioneers.
Four land lots of 67 acres, 59 acres, 77 acres and 157 acres are situated 9 miles from Napier and 1 mile from the Eskdale Township.
It is noted that the hills are of limestone formation and that the flats are ideal for mixed farming, particularly tomato growing.
The plan shows the area bordering the Esk River, Napier - Gisborne Road, Napier - Taupo road. Several lots border the Petane River.
John Bruce and H Wilson own properties adjoining land sale.
