Brief Description
Sale plan surveyed by AA Kennedy of Maraekakaho Estate subdivisions to be sold by public auction dated 21 October 1929
There are five map sections showing lot numbers of sections at Aorangi flats, Valley farms, Whakapirau farms and Ngatarawa plains. There is a locality plan at the bottom right corner showing the various areas for auctions, mainly in the Maraekakaho Valley area.
H M Glazebrook and W Richmond are named as land owners on the Valley farms map. On the reverse of the plan are photographs of various farms for sale. An attached newspaper clipping notes the people who bought sections including Colin Bell (692 acres), K Campbell (112 acres) and Tom Smith (97 acres).
Sale stated as taking place at the Municipal Hall in Hastings. Hoadley and Son and Stewart Limited, de Pelichet and McLeod and Company Limited, Murray Roberts and Company Limited are listed as Auctioneers.
