Brief Description
Plan, Hawke's Bay Land district No 421. 1927.
Rural lands for selection, comprising 5,493 acres, Sections 2 and 6, block VII, sections 3,4 and 5, block XI in the Maungaharuru S D to be open for selection under the Land Act, 1924, Tuesday April 5 1927.
Noted on the plan is written that preference will be given to landless applicants who have one or more dependants and to applicants who have served beyond New Zealand as members of the Expeditionary Force.
The schedule is second class land in the Hawke's Bay County Maungaharuru survey district, part Purahotangihia block.
The block is 23 miles from Napier by a good metalled road.
Noted are the blocks to be offered outlined in red with area sizes and block numbers.
All the above mentioned land is situated near Te Pohue.
T M Rofe has land bordering the Esk River to the West and J P Turnbull has land adjoining section 5 of the land on offer, at the south end.
