Certificate from Royal Humane Society of New Zealand, instituted 1898. Certificate to George Bristow.
States:
At a general court of directors holden at the offices of the society, Christchurch, it was resolved that the courage and humanity displayed by George H Bristow of Napier in rescuing Lewis Jones from drowning at Napier on December 5, 1903 call for the admiration of this court and justly entitle him to the society's silver medal, which is hereby awarded.
