Brief Description
The plan of the Hawke's Bay rivers shows works recommended in an Engineers report, dated 29 May 1919. The report was adopted by the Hawke's Bay Rivers Board. It shows embankments, roads, floodgates, grade levels around Clive Grange, the Tukituki River mouth, Hastings, Ngatarawa, Roys Hill, Oingo Lake, Tutaekuri River, Waima Stream and Napier.

The proposed redirection of the Waima Stream and Tutaekuri River can be seen starting around Fernhill and ending at the river mouth around the Clive area.
A dam is located at Clive Grange near the Tukituki River mouth and the floodgates are in Farndon and the Whakatu area.
