About this object
The book containing letters are written between the years 1884-1885 and record the Webb family's journey out to New Zealand, settling at Ormondville and accounts of their daily life.

There are watercolours and sketches included with the letters.

(a) The letters have been bound into a book and given the title: Letters from New Zealand. The letters are to Aunt Mary from Reverend Anthony Spur Webb, Patty Webb as well as other members of the Webb family from Ormondville.

(b) With the book is a leather bookmark with a hand written quote on it.
