Brief Description
The nautical map of the Napier Port and Harbour shows Raffles Street, the Napier Railway Station, Munroe Street, Scinde Island, the Harbour reserve, the Inner Harbour, Western Spit and the harbour area north of Scinde Island. The Pania Buoy is 2.25 miles from Napier Bluff and the Glasgow Wharf. The rubble foundations are shown at the wharf area. The signal station is located 330 feet above sea level on Napier Bluff and the two beacons of white and red light are near Bay View at a place called the Beacons. The anchorage buoy can be seen in the Ahuriri Roads area.
