Brief Description
The map of the lower North Island from Hawke's Bay, Wellington and Taranaki shows the boundaries of land districts, roads, railways, major towns and homesteads around Mahia Peninsula, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North and Wellington.

Points of interest are, the Dartmoor, Ardlussa and Hakawai homesteads are located next to the Tutaekuri River near Mount McNeil and Mount Cameron. Cattle Hill, near Kuripapanga, is 3,313 feet above sea level and the Elmshill homestead is located at Patangata near Elsthorpe.
