Brief Description
Cadastral map of the Borough of Napier, Napier South and Westshore extensions.
L & S Ref: 1000-8/08-109.
Shows reserves, lands reclaimed, land lots, area sizes, streets, rivers around Marine Parade, Napier South, Ahuriri Lagoon, Westshore and Scinde Island.
The South Pond is noted as having an area of 24 acres and the North Pond - 33 acres.
The Glasgow wharf at the harbour is shown, as is the end of the breakwater as at 1907. The proposed Western mole can be seen at the harbour as well. The Masonic Hall is shown on Munroe Street, near town, as is another Masonic Hall on lot 124 on Tennyson Street.
The Gaiety Theatre is on Dickens Street on lot 246.
