Brief Description
The cadastral map of the Borough of Napier shows borough boundaries, reserves, streets, lot numbers, DP numbers and area sizes around Marine Parade, Scinde Island, the Napier business district, Ahuriri lagoon and the Inner Harbour. The South Pond lagoon adjoins Battery Road and Bridge Street.
The pilot signal station and signal lights are shown at the entrance to the Inner Harbour. The Napier Hospital nurses home can be seen on the corner of Lawrence and Goldsmith Road. Margaret Ward, Shrimpton Ward, the administration block, Stokes Ward, Midgley Ward, Coleman Ward and Robjohn Ward are west of the nurses home on Park Road. The isolation block is located on the corner of Burne Road and Park Road. An artificial lake is visible on just behind Napier Boys High School.
