Brief Description
The topographical map of the proposed route between Kotemaori on State Highway 2 and Glenfalls on State Highway 5, via the Mohaka valley, will give access to lands and forest development in the Esk State Forest. The plan shows the Esk River, Waitara Road, the Mohaka River and Lake Rotonuiaha. Written in black ink on the plan is information about the existing legal logging roads that need to be improved, the end of the legal road, the proposed bridge and proposed state forest. The proposed Waitara Road extension runs from the Ohuka hut across the Te Hoe River and ends near the Mangapuru Stream.
