Cadastral map of Napier Borough showing all subdivisions and road lines according to Mr Rochfort's survey of 1885. Manufacture date unknown.
Shows boundaries of original sections, boundaries of subdivisions, wards, municipal reserves, educational reserves around Ahuriri, Pandora Point, Goa Bay, Western Spit, Scinde Island, Napier Central Business District and down to Beach Road - or Marine Parade as it would be later called.
The Union bank is shown on the Corner of Emerson Street and Hastings Street. The Masonic Hall is on Munroe Street, the Theatre Royale on Tennyson Street.
A boys high school is noted on land bordering Gladstone Road.
The Ferry Hotel is on Meeanee Quay - where the bridge to the main land meets at West Quay, near Bridge Street in Ahuriri.
