Brief Description
Scrapbook containing material related to the Northern Hawke's Bay Federation of New Zealand Country Women's Institutes. The scrapbook contains photographs, newspaper cuttings, letters, a sketch, and drama festival programmes relating to the history of the organisation between 1921 and 1971.
Much of the material in the scrapbook relates directly to the Golden Jubilee of the Country Women's Institutes, including: a card to the Northern Hawke's Bay Federation of New Zealand Country Women's Institutes from the Hawke's Bay Provincial of Women's Division Federated Farmers, dated February 1971; the official stamp cover produced to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Country Women's Institutes, postmarked Rissington 10 February 1971; and a ticket to the Golden Jubilee Celebrations luncheon, held 20 July 1970.
