Brief Description
a) Scrapbook, titled H B A G M. The scrapbook contains newspaper cuttings relating to the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum, Napier, for the period August 1936 to March 1938. The newspaper cuttings cover topics such as the official opening of the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum in 1936, building works, new acquisitions, and exhibitions.

b) Newspaper cutting. The first article is titled: Gift of 100 Guineas Towards H B Art Gallery. It concerns a donation by Mr M S Spence to the Napier Arts and Crafts Society for the purposes of building a Museum and Art Gallery for Napier. The second article is titled: Singular Service to People of Hawke's Bay. It concerns a trip by Mr Leonard Delabere Bestall and his wife, Mary Bestall, to England. Undated, possibly 1934 or 1935.
