Brief Description
Twelve Requisition Books by the Earthquake Relief Committee used during the aftermath of the Hawke's Bay Earthquake 1931. Issued by the Public Works Department, Transport Department.

Most of the original slips are absent, with the carbon copied duplicates and triplicates remaining. Handwritten information on the slip includes the person, company or department to supply the goods to, date, quantity and particulars of goods requisitioned, and signature of overseer of foreman. The triplicate of pages are entitled: Original, Store Officer's Receipt; Duplicate, District Storekeeper's Copy, Triplicate, To remain in book.
