Label for a brick from the chimney of the old Mission House at Waitangi and a photograph showing where the brick was found.

a) A label for a brick from the chimney of the old Mission House at Waitangi, residence of William Colenso and Elizabeth. The label states that the brick was made around 1840 and was found on the riverbank.

b) A black and white photograph. In the foreground is a trench with tree roots and broken branches, in the middle ground stands a man holding a branch, in the background are trees. An X has been drawn on the surface of the photograph. On the back of the photograph is written: January 1947. The old road down to the river. Marked with X where the brick from the old Mission House chimney was found.
