Brief Description
Seven Goods Received Duplication Books associated with the relief effort following the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 1931 and issued by the Napier Food Control Committee.

a) Meat Book dated 8 February to 17 February 1931. Issued by Inspector Thompson. Signatories include T Redward, McAbnate and C McLean. The distribution of meat from Inspector Thompson to various relief departments and centres.

b) Meat Book dated 10 February to 13 February 1931. Issued by Inspector Thompson and Wagon V65. Signatories include A A Kelly, McAbnate and T Redward. The distribution of meat from Inspector Thompson to various relief departments and centres.

c) Meat Book dated 17 February to 21 February 1931. Issued by Inspector Thompson. Signatories include T Redward and C McLean. The distribution of meat from Inspector Thompson to various relief departments and centres.

d) Meat Book dated 21 February to 28 February 1931. Issued by Inspector Thompson. Signatories include T Redward and C McLean. The distribution of meat from Inspector Thompson to various relief departments and centres.

f) Food Book dated 17 February to 11 April 1931. Signatories include H E Edgley. Includes receipts for payment, including the date, the person, department or company paying for goods, description of goods, and signature of receiver of payment.

g) Food Book dated 15 May to 15 June 1931. Signatories include F L Davis. Includes details for Nelson Park Camp receiving various goods, including the date, the person, department or company delivering the goods, description of goods, and signature of receiver.
