Brief Description
Invitations from various institutions circa 1970.

a) Invitation from the Ministry of Works New Zealand, Mr D.U. White, District Commissioner of Works, Napier inviting Mr and Mrs Jim Munro to watch the film Nga Tamariki o te Haeta (The Children of the Dawn) on 16 October 1971 at the Wool Exchange in Napier. the film screening was part of the 100 year anniversary of the Ministry of Works in New Zealand celebrations. The film traced the history and development of the Napier-Taupo Road.

b) Invitation from Napier City Council inviting Miss A Woodhouse to be present at the official opening of the New Municipal Building by the Right Honourable K J Holyoake, Prime Minister on 23 September 1968. This would be followed by afternoon tea in the St John Ambulance Building on Hastings Street.

c) Invitation from Alfred Dunhill Limited and the Rothmans Cultural Foundation inviting Mrs N A Owen and friend to the opening of the exhibition Rodin and his Contemporaries at the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum by Mayor P Tait on 8 October 1968.
