Brief Description
Certificate and letter by the Napier Round Table for the Napier City Centennial.

a) Letter written by the Napier Round Table to explain the Napier City Centennial Souvenir Wine Pot event and its significance. Also explains the time capsule and the register of commemorative pots within it. Finally, notes that this was a successful fundraiser for the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum. Dated 13 May 1975 and signed by the project convenor, Brian Gardner.

b) Certificate dated 29 November 1974 and signed by Napier Mayor Peter Tait. Certifies that potter Estelle Martin of Kamaka Potteries of Hawke's Bay made pot 1 with a glaze of papa and iron for Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum as donated by Mr R J Bird of Glenvale Vineyards. There were 200 limited edition souvenir wine pots made to celebrate the Napier City Centennial.
