A two page letter written by George Williams introducing and explaining the photographs that he has donated. Dated 20 June 2002.
The first page is a letter with the reasons why he donated these photos, and their history. There is a handwritten note on the bottom about the spelling found on the English memorial.
The second page is an extract from a letter that his unnamed niece wrote about the trip and the memorials there. She was the one who actually took the photos during a trip in 1999.
