Brief Description
The album contains collectable postcards that feature pictures of military groups. The postcards provide information about the history and traditions, the crest and battle honours and a list of the most famous military engagements for each group. Each card has a colour image of at least two of the relevant soldiers, one in full dress and the other in walking out order. They are all United Kingdom Regiments (Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England). There are 12 pages with four cards on each side making a total of 96 postcards in the book. There are also 11 loose postcards.

The postcards and album are undated, but the histories of each group go as far back as the Boer War. The earliest date is 1902. The cards in the book were originally printed as a set starting in 1908. The loose cards were added in later printings.
