Brief Description
Register produced by Air Force Relations, Napier Branch. The register contains Inward/Outward information about hand knitted woollen garments made by members of the Napier Branch of Air Force Relations, a group who produced 'items of comfort' for servicemen of the Royal New Zealand Air Force [RNZAF] during World War II. Included is the date, number of items, type of garment and name and address of the maker.

At the front of the register is a letter dated 4 August 1943, written on Air Department, Wellington letterhead paper, thanking members for a beautiful pullover gifted to the writer [signature illegible].

Inside the register a loose card, possibly a summary, records Outwards/Inwards items and there are notes or letters of acknowledgement and information on received or despatched items glued to several pages.

Glued to the inside cover is an embroidered AFR badge.
