Brief Description
Impression of a seal which was designed for King Potatau II, and a descriptive note.

(a) A wax impression of the Seal of King Potatau II located on the back of a Napier Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute member's card belonging to W Tylee, for 1869 - 1870. It is not noted when the impression was made on the back of the card.

This also has (b) an envelope.

(c) Typed note that describes the seal and gives a possible history of the object, suggesting that the original seal was created in 1879. There is a handwritten note at the bottom that says that this information is from a book by R Taylor.
