Hatuma settlement. Blocks XIII & XIV.
Waipukurau survey district. Blocks I, II & V - Motuotaraia survey district.
Takapau survey district. Blocks IV, VIII, XI & XII.

Land available for lease in the Takapau survey district consists 5,018 acres is open to applicants on Thursday April 25, 1901, which are made up of small grazing runs. Fifty four sections of agricultural land in the Waipukurau, Motuotaraia & Takapau survey districts are open for lease on Thursday April 25, 1901 and applications may be lodged at the Oddfellows Hall in Waipawa.

Land lots and area sizes, rivers, survey district boundaries are shown around the Tukituki River, Makaretu River, Hatuma Lake, Hatuma settlement and the Porangahau road area. A locality plan shows the Hatuma settlement to be midway between Waipukurau and Takapau. The Arlington Estate - Mr W L Newman, borders the land blocks available for lease, to the east next to the Porangahau road. The Oruawharo Estate - Sydney Johnston Esq, borders the land blocks at the western side, near Maharakeke. D S Fleming and W Rathbone have properties at the south end, around the Purimu Road area. A newspaper clipping is attached noting the purchasers of the above land. E C Goldsmith is the Commissioner of Crown Lands.
