Brief Description
Map of Mt Herbert Estate, showing the blocks that have been sold and also the portion retained by Mr Gaisford Esq.

Shows land lots, area sizes, rivers around the Tukituki River, Waipukurau town ship at the north and Mangatarata Stream, Tangitupara Stream, Turaekaitai Stream, Opokopaowa Stream and Wanstead to the south west.
A schedule of land is included noting the area of land from Mt Herbert to Motuotaraia is approximately 611 acres, plus other land totalling 940 acres. T Carswell has block 40 - 1,091 acres bordering Messrs Reid & Harper's land and the Kiorerau Stream. James Tipping - 387 acres: neighbours J C Main and J S McLeod - 515 acres, who in turn borders the Mangatarata Stream. S H Gollan - 349 acres, T H Grante - 337 acres and J A Jamison - 783 acres are all neighbouring land occupiers between the Mangatarata Stream and the Tukituki River.
