The map shows cities, boroughs, towns, railways, boundaries of land districts and electoral boundaries.
Populations as at 1911 are shown eg:
Hawke's Bay - 13,387, Kaipara - 11,588, Wairarapa - 11, 568, Wellington suburbs and county districts - 14,284 and Napier - 14,556.
Also included is a table showing the actual and nominal populations of the electoral districts in the North Island. Quota 15,180.
