Brief Description
Letters and plan. Correspondence concerning the Hawke's Bay earthquake, 3 February 1931.
A letter from Mrs E Reed to Alan Dick, Mayor of Napier describing having been involved in the Newcastle earthquake and how she and her daughter survived. She also attached a plan of Hastings Street, Napier with the location of various residential houses and businesses from about 1914.
There is also a letter from Mr Peter Harris with an attached typed list of the various organisations involved in the recovery of Napier from the 3 February 1931.
