a) Letter from the Minister of Defence, James Allen to an unknown recipient. The letter concerns the crosses erected over the graves of officers and soldiers killed during World War I. Dated July 1916.

b) Manuscripts with photographs of the Chatby Military Cemetery, Alexandra, Shrapnel Gully Cemetery, graves of New Zealanders on Plugge's Plateau, and the graves of Lieutenant R Richards, Private E Nears and J Williams.
