Brief Description
Three receipts from the Officer of Receiver of Land Revenue of Napier for Chief Toha Rahurahu of Wairoa who bought from auction sections 845 and 846 in Clyde on 10 December 1877.
a) Receipt number 1245 dated 10 December 1877 recording the receipt of £3.4.0 being a 10% deposit on suburban sections number 845 and 846 totalling 6 acres in Clyde.
b) Receipt number 138 dated 10 January 1878 recording the receipt of £1 being an estimated fee on suburban sections number 845 and 846 totalling 6 acres in Clyde.
c) Receipt number 1791 dated 10 January 1878 recording the receipt of £28.16.0 being nine-tenths the balance of purchase for suburban sections number 845 and 846 totalling 6 acres in Clyde.
d) Envelope entitled: Receipts of Monies Paid on account of Tohas Land.
