Brief Description
Seven topographical maps by the Department of Lands and Survey and the Ministry of Works and Development, dated 1978.
All maps are entitled: Upper Waipawa Basin Erosion Status (1975) as part of the Wanganui Circuit, and contain a sheet index showing the layout of all seven maps over a general area near the Waipawa Saddle in the Ruahine Ranges. All are part of aerial survey number 2800, which was flown on 9 December 1975 and labelled sheet 1 to 7.
All maps include references to roads, tracks, water races, drains, vegetation survey points and power pylons.
All scales are 1 to 2000 with a vertical interval of 5 meters.
