Specifications of Labour & Materials for alterations and additions to Bulk Store, Port Ahuriri for Williams and Kettle Ltd.
a) Cardboard covering folder.
b) Ticket type label attached to the front of the specification sheets.
c) Handwritten sheet noting that Mr Faulknor's plans were handed to Mr Laurie Williams by DJS on Wednesday March 1957 at the head office.
d) Envelope with Messrs William & Kettle, Browning Street, Napier typed on the face.
e) Contract of work to be carried out has been signed by the Williams & Kettle general manager and H Faulknor with witnesses, on June 28 1939.
f) Typewritten sheet from Mr H Faulknor Ltd to Messrs Williams & Kettle Ltd about the proposed alterations and additions to the bulk store, noting that H Faulknor's quotation for carrying out the above mentioned work came to £4,279, dated Jun 1939.
g) Specification sheet noting the materials to be used, permits and insurances to be obtained, types and dimensions of stormwater and other drains, manufacturer and consistency of cement to be used as well as specifics regarding the type and grade of shingle and sand, noting that the concrete is to be 6 inches deep.
The lighting lamps are to be 100 watt gas filled lamps of the Edison screw type.
