Bill of Sale for the sailing ship Why Not, dated 31 October 1883. Port of Registry, Napier. The Why Not was built at Renfrew, Scotland, in 1854. It has one deck and two masts. It is a Ketch. The Bill of Sale transfers sixteen shares from George Edward Gordon Richardson, Merchant of Napier to Frederic Wanklyn Williams, Merchant of Napier.
