Bill of Sale for the sailing ship Why Not, dated 31 July 1891. Port of Registry, Napier. The Why Not was built at Renfrew, Scotland, in 1854. It has one deck and two masts. It is a Ketch. The Bill of Sale transfers five shares from Alexander Craig Lang, Nathaniel Kettle and George Edward Gordon Richardson, Merchants of Napier to Frederic Wanklyn Williams, Merchant of Napier.
