Brief Description
Bound volume of the Maraenui and Marewa Messenger newspapers, for the period January 1978 to December 1979.
A free newspaper. Articles of local interest and advertisements. The paper was established to serve the suburbs of Marewa and Maraenui and then extended to Tamatea.
The final issue was issue 178, 19 December 1979. It ceased after eight years of publication. It was felt that the needs it was designed to meet were being adequately catered for by the overall coverage of the Daily Telegraph.
