Brief Description
a) Minute book recording meetings held by the Christian Education Committee from 27 July 1969 to 2 February 1973. The first entry, relating to the seemingly inaugural meeting of St Peter's Christian Education Committee, includes an outline of the functions of the Committee as well as the division of sub-committees and their associated members. The second entry is a summary of an address given by Mr B Flack concerning the new curriculum for Christian Education. The subsequent minutes include reports from the different sub-committees and address matters such as teaching materials, teacher training, locations for classes, staff and the organisation of socials.
b) Minutes of the Christian Education Committee meeting held in St Peter's Lounge on Friday 6 August 1971. These minutes include reports on the Kindergarten, Family Church, Bible Class, Pirimai Sunday School, Finance, Picnic, Dedication Service, Resource Library, Church and Home Programme, Mission Department Programme, and accommodation. The final page is the Youth Report to the Christian Education Committee for August 1971.
