Brief Description
License to Captain John Campbell to act as Lighterman at the Port of Napier.
Signed by Edward Catchpool, Deputy Commissioner of Customs within the Colony of New Zealand. John Campbell is licensed to act as a Lighterman for the carriage by water of goods cleared for drawback or from the warehouse to be put on board any ship for exportation, and for the carriage by water of all goods imported and to be landed from any ship at the legal quays, wharves and landing places within the port of Napier for a period of twelve months.
