The map was printed in association with a public auction held by Williams and Kettle Limited in conjunction with Mr J R Lanauze on behalf of Chambers Brothers at the Royal Albert Hall, Wairoa, on Friday 29 October 1915 at 2.30 pm. The auction concerns the sale of 2538 acres of this estate in 5 blocks. The property is situated close to Wairoa Town and Port. The land is bounded by property owned by S Thorpe, J Powdrell, Crawford, and the sea. The Wairoa Road runs through part of the property.
